I do not understand the university education system. I am being seriously penalized for not attending lectures when my exam grades are quite good (save one class) due to the fact that I teach myself the material. Are they jealous that I know my learning style better than they do and as such can learn the material more efficiently without them?

I just got my Midterm Grade Report. Apparently I am failing Leadership/Management (one exam, I got a C), and getting a D in Marketing (one exam, 89, took one last week which I know I did very well on).

I am not trying to gloat - the fact of the matter is I do not need to attend class to earn decent grades on exams and as such do not feel like waking my ass up to sit through lectures that are of no use to me. I know a lot of you are capable of the same.

What bothers me most is if I was at an institution of 40k like UW-Madison, I would not be having this problem. I would be a number, and I don't know about you but I don't know many profs who take attendance for their 300-student lectures. The D and F I am currently receiving would be a C and most likely an A.

In summation, FUCK SCHOOL.

I went skiing Friday at Sundown in Dubuque - was pretty fun but the "snow" was horrible and it made me miss Steamboat... in related news my parents leave for Steamboat on Saturday.

I may be the worst college student in the history of college students.

Going out to VA for Spring Break and Summer by the looks of it - couple CVS stores out there need help so I'll be working full time and making some money (keeping my fingers crossed).

I seriously need to find a hobby.

Have to find a place to live for next year. Going to apply for a Help Desk job.
